It’s great for vegans and vegetarians and, if you’re into meat and fish, you could always try using tuna steak, tiger or king prawns, chicken or maybe even cubes of steak or pork (but if using meat, make sure it’s cooked through thoroughly) and, if you don’t like aubergine, how about big chunks of strong-flavoured mushrooms, pumpkin, sweet potato, red onions, or courgettes (zucchini)

Cheese and Salmon Flan
I love nothing better than a good, mature, English cheddar, whether it be with biscuits, grilled on toast, in an omelette or as the topping on a pizza, but I always feel a bit of a cheapskate if I serve up a cheddar based dish when I have guests but I came across this recipe which is not a really highly priced dish, it’s nonetheless just a bit special!

McDonalds has had some pretty bad press over the years and, once coffee shops pulled out all the stops to get people through their doors with “healthier options”, it seemed the burger chain was destined to fall by the wayside. I know many office workers, if in need of a quick takeaway lunch, still like to grab a burger and return to work but Starbucks and other coffee shops appear to offer healthier looking sandwiches and salads. Collagen and Healthy Eating
Anyone for a bowl of collagen soup or a large slice of collagen pie?
Gilgamesh, is a pan-Asian restaurant based in Camden, London and its head chef, Ian Pengelley has come up with a collagen based menu called “Eat Yourself Beautiful”; its aim is to keep us all looking youthful. Apparently Japan began this faddy food epidemic selling noodles,soups and other dishes with added collagen.
