This recipe is listed as a starter but I'd be happy to eat it as a light lunch meal or serve it up with extra salad vegetables and bread or possibly a baked potato (with lashings of butter of course!).

The recipe refers to tiger prawns but some of you may not consider this to be appropriate bearing in mind recent publicity regarding the over fishing in so many countries. I can't afford to buy the true tiger prawns so use slightly smaller king prawns or even use bog standard smaller varieties – basically whatever suits your budget or your ethical beliefs!
