Adam was lucky enough to look out of our office window and see a young deer nibbling away at the brambles and nettles about 3 ft away from the bottom of our garden. I don’t know whether he knows that he’s on animal sanctuary land and can’t be shot there or whether he’s just not old enough yet to be aware that, if he ain’t careful, he’s going to end up as venison pie come next autumn! I’d like to think it’s the former rather than the latter. I suspect the young nettles and bramble shoots are quite sweet at the moment.

The ingredients here sound really weird and I haven't given the recipe a go yet, but the more I actually look at the ingredients I can see how it would work! As per usual, I've given a few alternative ingredients!

Gilgamesh, is a pan-Asian restaurant based in Camden, London and its head chef, Ian Pengelley has come up with a collagen based menu called “Eat Yourself Beautiful”; its aim is to keep us all looking youthful. Apparently Japan began this faddy food epidemic selling noodles,soups and other dishes with added collagen.
