This is one of TV Chef, Gary Rhodes recipes. They’re usually cooked with beef and baked in a Malaysian pastry parcel but he’s adapted them to suit vegetarians and to utilise more readily available puff pastry. They’re designed as a starter but I think they would be perfect for an alfresco dinner party with salad.

I think most of us have at some stage made or eaten a bog standard chocolate cake based on the basic recipe of fat, flour, sugar, cocoa powder and eggs, but this one is just a tad more indulgent. It takes a bit more effort to prepare than a normal chocolate sponge but, every now and again, one has to indulge doesn't one!!!

Hot summer days are perfect for cool, creamy deserts, and for Cheese Cake lovers this one will have you coming back for more. Made with Non-Fat yogurt and sweetened with your favorite artificial sweetener, (mine is Splenda®) you won’t be sweating the calories.
