Everyone is likely to experience problems with a clogged kitchen sink at one time or another and if you cannot afford a plumber you might have a go at unblocking it yourself. There are many ways to unclog a sink and they include using a plunger, using a drain-snake or auger, putting baking soda and vinegar down the sink, putting salt and boiling water down it, and taking the trap apart underneath and manually removing the blockage. Sometimes all these methods fail though because the drainpipe is clogged further along.
