This is the last of my photographs taken Spring 2012 of our walk through the leafy glad along the river bank to the wide open Salhouse Broad. Having returned home and uploaded my photo of a gnarled oak I left the photo up on my monitor to have a cup of afternoon tea and a piece of home made cake – very old-fashioned and traditional English “afternoon tea”.

Not So Coy Koi
After several years of planning and preparation, Adam finally put some fish into our garden pond the year before last. We seldom saw them last year, presumably because they were a bit wary, but this year, one Koi in particular didn’t seem to be afraid to bask in the warm, early spring sun.

We'll Gather Lilacs
I adore the smell of lilac in the Spring. It takes me back to my childhood where our huge garden was bordered by a variety of colours and I can always remember walking round the garden with my now deceased father before I went to school.
