Over here in the UK smoking has been banned in public indoor spaces although it’s still permissible outside. So, as a non smoker myself, I no longer have to enter a wine bar only to be greeted with a fog of foul smelling smoke and end the evening being able to taste the tobacco and, worse still, wake up the following morning to a house filled with the nauseating smell of stale tobacco which has woven it’s way into the clothes I’d worn the previous night.
