My partner Adam and I love nothing more than venturing out into our stunning and peaceful local countryside and spending our leisure time lurking in the hedgerows and along the seashore, river banks or unique Norfolk broads, peeking into every nook and cranny searching out interesting fauna and flora to spy through our binoculars or photograph with our digital cameras.

In this hub, I detail the different types of Czech pressed glass leaf beads that are currently available. I show some rare and vintage varieties, too. I give examples of jewelry made with leaf beads, patterns, resources for buying, and other related posts and books.

My friend Barbara gave me some lavender to dry. While it's drying, I'm going to enjoy the beautiful purple lavender buds in several vases around the house. The scent of lavender is lovely. I may dry the buds and leaves and make some sachets or use the dried flowers in candles. Not sure yet!
