What’s the connection between J R R Tolkien and Charles Dickens? We know that they were two of the most incredible and well respected authors of their time and their popularity has endured over the years, but what other connection could there possibly be?

I adore the smell of lilac in the Spring. It takes me back to my childhood where our huge garden was bordered by a variety of colours and I can always remember walking round the garden with my now deceased father before I went to school.

It certainly seems that kids over here in the UK aren’t.
