It’s difficult to remain a positive thinker when you’re stuck indoors in the middle of winter and, with me being a home worker, it’s doubly so as I don’t go out into the fresh air and walk around as much as I should, relying instead on a bit of exercise via my Wii and fresh air through an occasional trip down the garden to feed the birds or put rubbish in the bin.

I think most of us are aware April 2012 marked the centenary of the fateful night when the RMS Titanic sank. We know the story – this was a huge cruise ship which was professed to be unsinkable. It was, at the time, an extraordinary achievement – a modern, well fitted out ship which was designed to provided accommodation for a diverse range of passengers from the rich and famous, through the middle classes, to the lowly workers and their families who had saved avidly for months from their meagre income in order to travel to pastures new lookng for a better quality of life.

Will The Chia Health Hype Hit The Uk?
Chia seeds are already hitting the health market in the US but although they are available in the UK they don't seem to have hit the market as hard as in the US. I suppose this isn’t really surprising as the plant is more prevalent in Mexico and Southern America, so it follows that it would more easily find its way across the borders to the US before reaching us far flung Brits!
