Around the world crumpets are known to be very much a British Institution. It seems that, throughout history, toasted crumpets have been served in the drawing room with afternoon tea in front of a roaring log fire.

The Great Marmite Debate
Did my eyes deceive me? it wasn't April Fool's Day and I knew I wasn't dreaming. Maybe I'd misread the title? No, the article definitely said that one of my favourite healthy food supplements was probably going to be taken off the market in Denmark!

Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day
Bread making is not one of my strong-suits. Making the dough, kneading it, waiting for it to rise, then kneading again is simply too complicated for me.
