If you are a lover of comfort food like I am, then you are going to love traditional Irish foods. These nostalgic foods fill the belly with warmth, embrace your heart with joy and just go down way too easy because they taste so darn good.

On my trawl through the archives I came across this vegetarian recipe which should appeal to vegetarians and meat lovers alike. The main ingredient, vegetable suet, may not be readily available in the US but, at the bottom of the recipe I have found a couple of websites where you can order British food online, so if you don’t like the recipe, you may find some other things on there to tickle your taste buds!

Of all the supposedly bad beers, I guess I would rather drink Pabst Blue Ribbon than any of the others. The smell is vaguely reminiscent of Old Milwaukee (what is it with these Milwaukee beers?) but the taste is a little better, not as fizzy and a bare touch of sweetness. This is a good bowling alley and pool hall beer.
