Adam and I decided to take a few hours away from our home office and make the most of one of the rare days this Spring that the rains abated! A dat well spent as this was one of nature's wonders we discovered!

After several years of planning and preparation, Adam finally put some fish into our garden pond the year before last. We seldom saw them last year, presumably because they were a bit wary, but this year, one Koi in particular didn’t seem to be afraid to bask in the warm, early spring sun.

Heard of the Lone Ranger? Think this must have been his horse in a previous life - Lone Horse!!

Every year we have about 15-20 rescued horses on the meadow at the bottom of our garden and for about the last three or four years this horse with slightly unusual markings has spent his spring and summer months with us.
