Film with Cancer Patient Who Dies – Restless Movie
I watched a movie that stars Dennis Hopper’s son Henry Hopper. It is about a girl who is dying from cancer. She has a tumor on her brain and you know she is going to pass away from this terminal illness even before you watch the film so I’m not giving up any spoilers here. In some ways it is a sad film but in other ways it is so quirky and amusing that the movie really examines the precious moments we spend on Earth rather than the despair of not being alive any more.

Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant, and Walking While Black
Trayvon Martin was shot on Feb. 26 by George Zimmerman, a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain, while he was visiting his father in Sanford, Florida. Martin left his father’s home to buy Skittles and iced tea when he was spotted and pursued by Zimmerman. A scuffle ensued and resulted in the death of seventeen-year-old Trayvon. Zimmerman, who maintains that he acted in self-defense, has not been arrested.
