A idealistic staffer, Stephen (Ryan Gosling), has just been brought on board for a newbie Presidential candidate, who he believes will change the world for the better. Unfortunately, for Stephen, he soon learns that the realities of politics doesn't always match up with one's ideals, and soon finds himself getting a crash course in dirty politics.
