Along the Adriatic coast the climate is sunny and warm in the summer and mild in the winter. In land the summers are hot and the winters cold. On third of the country is forest and has a great wildlife. Music and dance are keeping tradition alive and was passed on from generation to the next. They have a strong sense of cultural identity.

Costa Rica is in between Panama and Nicaragua. It is an unusual peaceful Central America country. It has no army, fertile plain and a great tourist industry. On the coast Costa Rica is tropical and has swamps. The forests are teeming with wildlife and are inaccessible. A mountain range runs right down in the centre of the country with several volcanoes over 3500m high
