This is the last of my photographs taken Spring 2012 of our walk through the leafy glad along the river bank to the wide open Salhouse Broad. Having returned home and uploaded my photo of a gnarled oak I left the photo up on my monitor to have a cup of afternoon tea and a piece of home made cake – very old-fashioned and traditional English “afternoon tea”.

Adam and I decided to take a few hours away from our home office and make the most of one of the rare days this Spring that the rains abated! A dat well spent as this was one of nature's wonders we discovered!

A study has been taking place at the University of California, in San Francisco, into the secret life of the fruit fly and it seems that male fruit flies who are rejected by females drink more alcohol than those who find a willing sex partner!
