A combination of articles on the history of dogs,the hedgehog as a gardener and the practice of yoga in the Western world. This set of articles is unusual as they are completely unrelated to each other but I thought it would be a good idea to try out some variety as I usually only put related articles together in a top. Thankfully the continual rain we've been experiencing here in Rural Norfok UK it's had absolutely no effect on the water lilies that are now in flower on our garden pond. I managed to catch this one when it was at its best!!

During one of our rare moments of sunshine this summer (2012) I quickly got my camera and had a good look around my garden. I found this poor little rose looking decidedly glum with head down in amongst my pot marigolds.
