Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant, and Walking While Black
Trayvon Martin was shot on Feb. 26 by George Zimmerman, a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain, while he was visiting his father in Sanford, Florida. Martin left his father’s home to buy Skittles and iced tea when he was spotted and pursued by Zimmerman. A scuffle ensued and resulted in the death of seventeen-year-old Trayvon. Zimmerman, who maintains that he acted in self-defense, has not been arrested.

How one Russian got more than he bargained for when he bought some wooden crates for firewood.
An article on the BBC website has brought a whole new meaning to the words “fire” wood. An inhabitant of the Russian village of Udmurtia bought some crates with the aim of using them for firewood but discovered that, with this innocent purchase he had also gained his own armoury! Some of the crates contained Kalashnikov rifles and parts!!
Teenage Killers. Harold Jones
It must be every parent’s nightmare – their cherished teenage son is tried and convicted of murder. Back in 1921 Harold Jones was a 15 year old, hard working shop assistant in the Welsh mining town of Abertillery so when he was arrested for the murder of two young girls, it shook the close-knit community to the core.

Police the subject of multiple fire bomb attacks
Fresno Police have been the target of three fire bomb attacks. A preliminary investigation suggest the attacks are in retaliation for the killing of a man by police earlier this year. The first attack was on a police substation. The second attack was more personal and targeted the home of a police officer with a fire bomb causing some damage to the home before being extinguished. Subsequently the attacker returned and fire bombed the same home the next night.
