What a mixed up few weeks I’ve had recently, not only with the weather but with my work, my family … all manner of things! The weather’s been completely topsy-turvy. We had a week or so of heavy snow which remained thick on the ground for around three weeks.

Buy your bulbs at the beginning of the season when there is a wider variety to choose from. Always pick healthy bulbs. To do this make sure they are firm to the touch. The bigger the bulb the bigger the flower and you will get more of them.

You should plant your spring-flowering bulbs in the early fall, when the soil still has some summer heat in it. You should plant your summer-flowering bulbs in April-May when the soil is starting to warm up.

Replacing a headlight bulb in your car might be easier than you think.
The headlight is typically one of the more accessible parts (especially compared to a piston :-) of an automobile, therefore it can be replaced more easily.
