Based on two Malaysian dishes – Prawn Sambal and Nasi Lemak, Gary Rhodes has created this delicious recipe. Relatively quick and easy to make, it could make an unusual dish for a supper party. As usual, I’ve tried to provide a vegetarian version!

This moist delicious coconut cake is one of my husband's favorite cakes. Ingredients you will need to make the coconut cake are sugar, butter, shortening, eggs, buttermilk, coconut, flour, pecans and baking soda. The frosting ingredients are butter, coconut, cream cheese, powdered sugar and milk.

Corn and soy dominate food production in America. Combined they make up about 5% of the total land use of the USA. Corn and soy are heavily used in foods for both people and animals. Corn is also used for ethanol and as a food additive. The monoculture in agriculture and in diets of Americans is having serious environmental and health implications.

Whereas coconut is a renewable, a very healthy food and hardly used in America at all.
