News about breast cancer imaging techniques being studies at the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center that would reduce the need for a second surgery to remove cancerous tissue.
In one technique, slides of breast tissue are reviewed during surgery. In a second, particles are injected into the breast tissue that reveal cancerous tissue. This broadcast appeared on local television news channel 10.
