Have you ever tried to make open-ended collages with kids? You give them an idea of a theme, and see what they can come up with? You provide all the materials, including some natural materials, like sticks, stones, and sea shells, and craft supplies like paper, play dough, glitter glue, markers, pencils, etc. Preschoolers and elementary school age kids are very eager to take on open-ended projects. And if you are up for making it a family craft time, you can work on the project together.

This is a "soapbox" thing for me! Why would you NOT click your kid up in their car seat? It takes seconds and it should be done Every. Single. Time. And, when they outgrow car seats, they should be in a booster seat til at least 80 pounds. Ugh!
