The week seemed to start off fairly well. I had a good balance of work and writing but then, as they say, all good things come to an end and this was certainly true over the last week!

Thursday seemed to be the catalyst!

I’m always on the lookout for something interesting in the recent news and this article immediately caught my eye. I watched the Hollywood film “Snakes on a Plane” starring Samuel L Jackson but this story in the news took place in Australia and didn’t end happily for the snake.

I received an email from Hillside this morning relating to a slaughterhouse in Nantwich, Cheshire. I set out below the contents of the email and would urge you to add your name to the petition. I did so as soon as I read it. I’ve posted it on Twitter and would be grateful if those who sign it would kindly forward it to anyone who may be interested.
