Based on an old Japanese folklore about a princess found in a bamboo shoot. One day, a bamboo cutter comes across a beautiful little girl that's small enough to fit in the palm of his hand. He takes her home to his wife, and she immediately grows to be a human size baby afterwards. Unaware where she came from, the elderly couple decide to raise her as their own. Eventually, they come across a new found fortune, as they try to give her a better life.

With the year being half way over, it's time for stevennix2001 to present his top ten movies of last year. Some of these picks may surprise you, while others not so much.
