Back in the old west, a bounty hunter named Schultz frees a slave named Django, in order to help him identify three of the men he's after. After Django aids Schultz's quest, they form an unlikely friendship and alliance, as Schultz agrees to take Django under his wing. Not only training him to become a proficient bounty hunter, but also helps him in rescuing out his lost wife, as she remains in the ownership of a dangerous southern plantation owner named Mr. Candy.
