The epic conclusion to one of Hollywood's most successful comedy franchises has finally come to an end. Although this film fails to live up to the original, it's still vastly superior to the second movie, while putting together an ending worthy of wrapping up this franchise.

Admiral Kirk and his fugitive crew must return to the federation, to face the crimes they committed in the previous movie. However, when a mysterious alien probe comes that could wipe out the federation, Spock deduces the only species capable of communicating with it are the long since extinct humpback whales.

Therefore, Kirk orders his crew to go back in time to the 20th century, in order to get the whales of the past, to save their future.

Based on "The Land of Oz." Dorothy returns to the Emerald City to warn her friend, the scarecrow, of the evil invasion by the wicked witch, Mombi, who happens to be the cousin of the wicked witch of the west. With little time to spare, can Dorothy find the courage and strength in herself to face this new challenge?
