One night a year, all crime is legal throughout the United States of America. Unfortunately, this means that most of the country has to fend for itself during this night, while the one percent class has the best security that money can buy. However, one rich family ends up participating in this purge one night, as their son lets in a homeless man seeking shelter.

A generation's final journey begins, as Picard faces a younger clone of himself. At first, he claims to want peace, but as we come to find out, Shinzon isn't interested in peace. Now, Picard and his crew must save the universe once again to stop Shinzon before it's too late.

The Borg try to assimilate the federation by any means necessary, until Picard is able to thwart them in their tracks. However, he never counted that they would have a back up plan to travel back in time to stop Earth's first contact with aliens back in 2063.

Now, the enterprise must go back in time to repair whatever damage they've done; while Picard struggles with his inner demons.
