Christmas stockings really give your home a wonderfully festive feel. Whenever I see a Christmas stocking it reminds me of a simpler time when familties would gather round the fireplace and celebrate Christmas together. Members of the family would travel from miles around to see each other becuase in those days they didn't have laptops and mobile phones that could do video chat (I think it was somewhere around the 80's).
