Thousands of movie goers over the years have found themselves shivering and horrified over the actions of Norman Bates in “Physco”, Leatherface in “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and both Buffalo Bill and Hannibal Lecter in “Silence of the Lambs” but the real man, Edward Gein, on whom all these characters are loosely based is more horrifying than any of these characters could ever be.
