Bookmark and Share Bitesize Biography. The Bizarre Ms Besant

Annie Besant was considered more than a little eccentric in her day but much of what she achieved in her lifetime, we now take for granted today.
Annie Woods was born in London in October 1847. She wasn’t what one would call a happy child. Her father died when she was just five and Annie’s mother in effect abandoned her and persuaded a friend (Ellen Marryat), the sister of British Naval Officer and relatively prolific writer Frederick Marryat, to take charge of the young child.

E. Annie Proulx is a New Englander who has adopted the West as her home. The Western landscape appears in much of her writing. She has written eight fiction books.

Edna Annie Proulx was born in 1935 in Connecticut and lived in New England, including Vermont and Maine for much of her life. She moved to Wyoming in 1994 where she currently lives.

She is a fitness model, competitive figure athlete, certified personal trainer,owner of ‘Elite Personal Training LLC” and diet consultant.
She says on her Model Mayhem page that she is "always in phenomenal condition" and she sure looks like it.
Annie is 5'2 and weighs 101 pounds.
