Last year we visited Washington DC several times. On one of those visits we came across the Newseum. What a fantastic place this is.

All my life I had thought of a cross-country road trip as something retirees, or people that had been with the same company for 25 years and had a month's vacation and lots of money did. But in 2002 my wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary with a cross country trip that was the best anniversary you could ever ask for. Twenty one states, 6732 miles in 13 days, including three days in the same spot. Since then we've taken a few long road trips.
