This is because Shari'a law states that unless four men witness and report the rape, and then testify that it happened, the woman was not raped, but participated in illicit sex. What is wrong with this backwards world? Shari'a law is what's wrong. We as westerners allow this to happen by visiting countries in which Shari'a exists.

Sperm Sniffer Solves Rape Case in Sweden
Swedish law-enforcement authorities have arrested a 23-year-old man for rape after matching his DNA with evidence uncovered by a sperm sniffing police dog.
The dog,a German Shepherd called 'Rapport Opus', (possibly his name makes more sense in Swedish?) employed his special nose to sniff-down a sperm sample in a Karlskrona crime-scene where investigators say a man had forced a woman to perform oral sex on him.
