For some, paying for college is as simple as asking Mom and Dad. For most people it's not that simple. Luckily for those who don't have the luxury of rich parents paying for their schooling, there are other options. This article illustrates the different ways that one can pay for college.

I don’t have a job. I used to descend down the corporate ladder until my boss helped me off entirely by laying me off. Now I get unemployment benefits. Those cover food and small bills. If someone who loves me wasn’t paying the rent, I’d be writing this at the public library. There would be no way to afford a roof over my head, let alone internet access. The thought that the little security I get from unemployment benefits will soon be obliterated, scares the crap out of me. It’s quite a conundrum I find myself in.
