Looking down at your prized carpet and seeing candle wax drippings can be a frightful display but never despair, here are a few simple tips on how to remove candle wax from your beloved carpet.

Step 1

Using a blunt knife scrap and remove as much as you can from the carpet and hoover or sweep up the remnants.

Step 2

Place paper bags or towels onto the offending area and iron on a moderate heat to absorb the wax into the paper. Repeat this step changing the paper frequently until the ironed paper remains wax free.

The name Paso Fino means 'fine step' and it is a natural-gaited light horse. A Spanish landowner bred it. It proved to be useful on plantations for a comfortable ride. Christopher Colombus brought from Spain to the Americas in 1493, 20 horses and 5 mares to the island of Brinquen at the bay of Aquada (Anasco). May 1509 the governor of the island Juan Ponce de Leon brought the horses from his Hacienda to Porto Rico.
