I went outside one morning after a rain and I noticed a weird worm on the driveway that I had never seen. I went to investigate it and got it in a jar. After a little research I found out it was a Hammerhead Flatworm. These are an invasive species that are harmful to gardens.

One of the most interesting animals to have walked the Earth during the years before my lifetime, but still in the modern age, was the Thylacine. The Thylacine was often called "the Tasmanian Tiger," but the Thylacine was not a cat. Most folks who'd see a Thylacine, or, more likely, a picture of one, would think it a dog with Tiger stripes.

But the Thylacine was not a dog. The Thylacine was only the Thylacine, and absolutely nothing else on the planet was anything like it.
