Is home made toffee candy easy to make at home? Good question. It is not the easiest of recipes nor is it the hardest recipe. Toffee candy is really hot and gooey when you are making it. There are some challenges to making toffy at home but there are also the benefit of delicious sweets that actually taste a lot like the filling in a Heath or Skor bar. I did a similar article on making a toffee, chocolate crunch but this article is for only making toffee. There are no nuts, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, etc to blend into this toffee-only recipe. If you want to make toffee as part of a larger recipe or recipes or if you simply enjoy eating hard toffee straight up, this article should have you baking in your kitchen in no time.
Be careful when making toffee, it is hot, real hot. Sticky, real sticky. If it gets on you when hot, it'll hurt and stick to ya :-) Otherwise, this is a delicious treat.

The first thing I'll have to say about Snickers Peanut Butter bars is that the addition of peanut butter is definitely a tasty touch.
It is funny how the addition of peanut butter to any candy recipe really improves the taste or at least adds a nice variation of taste to the recipe. I first took notice of the combination of peanut butter and chocolate when I had my first Reese's peanut butter cup as a little kid. I thought it was heaven at the time but now I think there are some better chocolate and peanut butter combinations out there now.
