Alundra was a classic puzzlesolving RPG. In traditional 2D format, you played a character who could enter others' dreams. With an intelligent story, good characterisation and tricky puzzles, it became a classic on the Playstation.
Its sequel, Alundra II, was very different. Long awaited, it discarded most of the advantages of the previous game. The graphics were poor quality 3D, and sound was not ideal. None of the characters returned and the story was lacking compared to the previous one.
