Thor - Marvel Comic Movies
One of the most anticipated upcoming Marvel movies is Thor.
Even with Thor, Odin, Loki and seemingly the entire comic book cast of Asgard in the film, will they be able to pull this one off?
Thor is a Marvel Superhero created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby.
He made his debut in Journey into Mystery number 83 in August of 1962.
Well let me correct something here.
As probably all of you know, Thor wasn’t actually created by Lee, Lieber and Kirby, he's based on the Thor of Norse mythology, as is much of his supporting cast.
The Punisher - Marvel Comics Movies
Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher, was created by Gerry Conway, John Romita, Sr. and Ross Andru.
When he was created back in February 1974, he was unique in comic book characters at the time, because he really was a vigilante.
The Punisher didn't just tie the bad guys up so the cops would find them later like Spiderman, he would "punish" them by any means he saw fit.
Of course this was not as unique as some people thought.
Early in his career, Batman maimed and killed criminals, and even used guns.
