Eight years since the events of "The Dark Knight", Gotham seems to be at peace. Batman has gone into hiding from the world, as he takes the fall for Harvey Dent's crimes. However, this new found peace is short lived, as a new menace known as Bane appears in Gotham; which forces Bruce to don the cape and cowl once more. To make matters worse, a mysterious Catwoman is on the prowl as well. Is she an enemy? Or perhaps a misunderstood ally?

They're not always super. Throughout time writers have created questionable heroes to grace the pages of comic books. Some of these characters are intended to be jokes, while others represent a serious lapse in judgement on the part of the creator. While they may not be effective crime fighters, at least they're good for a laugh.

Iron Man: Extremis represents a revival of the Iron Man comic books, featuring everyone's favourite billionaire, Tony Stark, facing an all-new foe with a little help from his friends and a lot of the grittier style that the new Iron Man represents. A must-read for any Iron Man fan.
