Being able to simply convert pounds to kilograms is not quite enough information when converting the cost per pounds to the cost per kilograms. It is a really good start though. With international trade so abundant, and most of the much of the world using both the English and metric systems of measurement it is essential to be able to determine what the price of a product in kilos is when all you know is the price per pound.

The abbreviations for a pint is ' pt ' , the abbreviation for milliliters is ' ml ' Pints ( pt) are part of the English system of measure and milliliters ( ML ) are part of the metric system. Converting kilograms to ounces or kg ot oz. Boy, do I hate to calculate metric and English system measurements. The math never totals up evenly. This is especially true when you look at kilo to ounce conversions. A kilo is a lot heavier than a pound and a pound is a lot heavier than an ounce, combo that with the fact that these two systems of weight measurement never divide evenly and you got a bit of a challenge.
