A lot of people think that the kilowatt hour and the kilowatt are closely related like the meter and the centimeter or the watt and kilowatt. In reality, kilowatt hour and kilowatt do not measure the same thing. A kilowatt is a metric unit of measure for power and the kilowatt measures energy.
