Johnny Rotten's Still My Hero is a song by the Bard of Ely that was first recorded in 2002 but is now entered in the YouBloom Music Awards song contest. It is a tribute to John Lydon, the former front-man of The Sex Pistols.
The song makes reference to The Sex Pistols hit God Save The Queen and also to the year of the Jubilee. It also mentions David Icke and his conspiracy theory about the Royal Family and other world leaders being Reptilians masquerading as humans.
Bard of Ely recorded the song in a studio in Crawley and was backed by a girl group called The Somethings.
