If we come to a true understanding of God we move our lives beyond the veil of illusion and pain to become, as we ever are, brothers and sisters of Christ. Understanding God has everything to do with helping ourselves. When we understand God we have a more proper understanding of ourselves and our potentials to live the lives that we truly desire to live. It's not God's will that we live our lives in constant want and suffering; in essence, that we live our lives under an illusion of powerlessness.

God loved us, and gives us what is good for us, and that isn’t necessarily what we want. In Luke 11 v 11-13 we read: Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks you for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him? ”

It is so important to know the will of God for our lives. It is so easy to float through life without really doing something meaningful, something that will last. That is why if you are a believer, you must find the key to unlocking the will of God for you.
