I love to keep a garden, whether that is growing plants and flowers in containers as in container gardens or it is planting trees, flowers or vegetables in the ground. There are many different reasons why I love to grow plants.

Radishes are very easy to plant. Radishes are also fun to grow because the appear much faster than other vegetable plants. You do not need a sprawling garden to grow radishes. You don't need a well tilled lawn and fertilized soil in your back yard to have tasty radishes.
You can grow radishes right on your deck outside of your home. I grow them right on my balcony at my apartment. It is fun to do. You basically just use some decent soil, plant wait a month or so and your fresh radishes will begin to spout from the dirt.

Garfield Park lies on the south side of Indianapolis. Within it's boundaries visitors can explore the 10,000 square foot conservatory. It provides an up close view of a rain forest and can be very educational or simply relaxing.
