The leak is smaller but has been spewing since April 30. That is over 1 month and it is just now getting media exposure. No federal response stating how much is leaking, how long it will leak or if it can be fixed. This is probably why they made statements about the tar balls not being from the Deepwater Horizon...they've had multiple oil leaks/spills the whole time, they just didn't feel the need to share that with the public.
