Many times we hear of human trafficking and to many it means nothing because it does not involve them. To others human trafficking is just another moral dilemma that does not concern them. After all this kind of thing only happen to the poor from the so called “third world countries” who are easy prey to the dogs involved in the practice.

But what is human trafficking?

Many perceive Santeria as a bizarre an undesirable amalgamation of primitive, pagan beliefs and Roman Catholicism. Many believe the religion to be a dangerous, perhaps even Satanic, variation of Voodoo featuring zombies, indiscriminate animal sacrifices and other totems that make those from “first world” religious backgrounds uneasy.

Family traditions in Africa at Christmas time differ greatly from those of the developed world. Although we believe they can only learn from us, it is just the opposite in this case - we can learn from their family traditions and choose to follow them, especially at Christmas time.
