This is a video of a Black Widow Spider crawling. The video was shot using a Sigma 180mm macro lens on a Canon 5D Mark II camera body. Black Widows are one of three spiders in the United States considered dangerous to humans.

This page has some macro photographs of a Brown Recluse spider up close. The Brown Recluse is consider harmful to humans. It rarely will kill a human but its venom causes the flesh to die and may takes months to years to heal fully. I took these macro photographs with a Canon 5D Mark II camera body and a Canon MP-E 65mm 1x-5x lens.

It’s clear that drug companies are highly concerned about their bottom line, certainly as much as producing cures. Drug products address symptoms only, so there are no cures in the pipeline, and product sales, and profits, can continue indefinitely. When was the last time anyone heard a doctor say “Take this pill twice daily and in six months you’ll be cured and won’t have to take medicine anymore.”
