This is a HD video of two cottonmouths fighting over a female. I shot this video in Austin Texas using my Canon 5D Mark II camera. This is a fairly unusual site to come across. I found them by luck because I saw them when I was driving over a bridge.

Many people who walk the beaches of Hawaii for their first, second or even twelfth time, do not realize that the beautiful cone shells they see lying there in front of them are poisonous. There are many kinds of cone shells, all slightly different in appearance, so it easy to end up in the hospital over one nasty episode with one of these creatures.

It’s clear that drug companies are highly concerned about their bottom line, certainly as much as producing cures. Drug products address symptoms only, so there are no cures in the pipeline, and product sales, and profits, can continue indefinitely. When was the last time anyone heard a doctor say “Take this pill twice daily and in six months you’ll be cured and won’t have to take medicine anymore.”
