Here is a list of some of my very favorite movies as a child. I grew up in the 1980s and all of these movies are still classics. I'm sure you will enjoy this list, especially those of you from my generation. If you haven't seen some of these flicks, go out and rent them. They don't make movies like these anymore!

"11:14" is the sort of darkly funny movie which makes me wonder what the movers and shakers in Hollywood are thinking. The reason being is that "11:14" is a brilliant movie, totally absurd, convoluted beyond the point of reasoning yet it's completely entertaining, but it never got a big cinema release and pretty much went un-noticed when it came out on DVD. It's not as if "11:14" doesn't have any stars, there's Patrick Swayze, Hilary Swank, Barbara Hershey, Ben Foster, Colin Hanks, Henry Thomas and most people will recognize Shawn Hatosy as well.

With the news today of the worlds loss of Patrick Swayze, it made me think of the great movies he was in. I have listed all of my favorites, they are in no particular order, I love them all. Patrick Swayze was a great actor, and will be missed.
