Based on the classic cartoon shorts that were featured in the infamous, "Rocky and Bullwinkle Show." Mr. Peabody is a mentally advanced canine, who happens to be a well accomplished scholar, and inventor, yet he feels like something is missing in his life, so he adopts a boy named Sherman. Together, they go on all sorts of misadventures traveling through various time periods using a machine called the way back.

However, they must stop a time rift that they created, or else the universe will be destroyed.
